Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in a California Traffic Collision
The visionary game developer, the mind behind the immensely successful video game Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in California he was 55 years old.
His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
The renowned industry figure died after his car crashed and burst into flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.
"This is a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his legacy," a representative from Electronic Arts said.
